Welcome to the site for Anonimo enthusiasts. My name is Scott Moskovitz and I, along with our Anonimo exclusive dealers, am your host here at AnonimoUSA.

My story's a familiar one to many of you in the watch world. As a watch enthusiast and collector for many years, I've always been drawn to the historic design, individualistic style and exacting functions of large, stainless steel watches made legendary by an elite group of Tuscan watchmakers in the vicinity of Florence, Italy.

1996: The Year of Revelation
I discovered the most notable of the Italian brands in 1996. That was the year I stumbled upon a small yet widely renowned watch shop nestled into the Florentine cityscape just across from the Cathedral of Duomo in the heart of Florence. It was there that I fell in love with the magnificence of the original Italian military watch case and the celebrated Kodiak watch strap. So began my romance with Florentine watches crafted using strict, time-honored techniques by veteran watchmakers faithful to Tuscan tradition.

Enter Federico Massacesi
Coincidence? Serendipity? I simply call it fate. Through my watch-dealer-turned-friend and a series of providential events, I was introduced to Federico Massacesi. Signore Massacesi, you see, was a respected veteran of the world-famous Florentine fashion trade and a respected executive with Salvatore Ferragamo when he accepted a challenge to save an Italian watchmaking tradition by founding Anonimo. In so doing, he preserved an important part of Florentine heritage. In the eyes of Florentines, fine watch aficionado around the world and, especially, the craftsmen and watchmakers of Anonimo, he is truly a hero.
